No slides. No sales. Just 4 hours of real productivity solutions.
From Francesco Cirillo
In our digital age, where everything happens online, why do I fly thousands of miles to sit in a room with 30 strangers? Because nothing replaces the energy of solving problems together in real-time.
What Are Pomodoro® Meetups?
These are 4-hour informal gatherings where I meet practitioners in their cities. No PowerPoints. No sales pitches. No rigid agenda. Just genuine conversation about productivity, time management, and the challenges you face daily.
Think of it as coffee with 30 people who share your productivity struggles, with me facilitating the conversation.
Why Free?
The Pomodoro® Technique grew through community sharing, not marketing. Students taught classmates. Developers shared with teams. Parents helped other parents. These meetups honor that grassroots tradition—everyone deserves access to productivity transformation, regardless of budget.
Beyond honoring this tradition, I have a selfish reason too: I learn from you. Every meetup reveals challenges I hadn’t considered and solutions practitioners discovered independently. Last month in London, a nurse showed me how she adapted Pomodoros for 12-hour shifts. In Tokyo, a game developer solved the “creative flow” problem I’d wrestled with for years. Your experiences literally shape how the technique evolves.
Your 4-Hour Journey
Hour 1: Introductions and Challenges (30 people max)
We circle up in a local coworking space or library. You share what brought you here, what you’re struggling with. I listen, take notes, identify patterns. No judgment, just curiosity.
Hour 2: Live Problem-Solving
Based on your actual challenges, I demonstrate solutions using real examples from the room. Someone can’t start their thesis? We’ll work through their specific resistance together. Manager struggling with team interruptions? We’ll role-play solutions.
Hour 3: Rapid-Fire Q&A
Anything goes. “Why 25 minutes?” “How do you handle Slack?” “What about ADHD?” “Can kids use this?” No question is too basic or advanced. The “stupid” questions often spark the best discussions.
Hour 4: Practice and Connection
We start Pomodoros together, right there. You’ll meet local practitioners, form study groups, exchange contacts. Many groups continue meeting monthly long after I leave.
Who Should Attend
- Never tried Pomodoro®? Perfect, learn directly from the source
- Struggling with implementation? Let’s solve it together
- Already succeeding? Share what works and inspire others
- Managing teams? Discover how to scale the technique
- Skeptical? Bring your doubts—I love skeptics
The mix creates unexpected insights. Beginners ask questions experts forgot were problems. Experts share solutions that surprise even me after 30 years.
